Member Account, Password And Security

For certain features available through the EventInterface.com Web Site, we require the use of a Username and Password. We use reasonable precautions to protect the privacy of your Username, Password and User Account information. You, however, are ultimately responsible for protecting your Username, Password and User Account information from disclosure to third parties. You agree to: (a) immediately notify EventInterface.com of any unauthorized use of your Username, Password and/or User Account, and/or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your User Account at the end of each session.

How Personal Information is Collected and Used

EventInterface.com has two different types of users of this web site and services. The first type of user is a client. An individual, company or organization engaging EventInterface.com to set-up, manage and collect registration information, conduct online sales or fundraising projects. The second type of user is the attendee, purchaser or donor using the site to register, purchase or make a contribution. The types of information collected depend on which type of user you are.

We directly collect Personal Information from you when you submit an online form, register for an event, purchase merchandise or make a contribution through our Web Site, or send an e-mail to us requesting information or assistance.

EventInterface.com will not sell, rent, or trade personal information you submit to any third party.

EventInterface.com will share your registration, purchase or donor information with the client who contracted with EventInterface to provide the registration, sale or fundraising site. EventInterface.com has no control over the privacy practices of an event organizer and/or seller. We encourage you to learn more about the privacy policies of the event organizer and/or seller.

If you are registering for a paid event as an Invitee or are purchasing a product or service on our site, we may request payment information to conclude the transaction as well as your mailing address or other contact information to ensure authentication and proper delivery. We use industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL) encryption.

When you engage in an eCommerce transaction on our site using a credit card, your credit card information, including the number and expiration date and your billing address, are passed onto the merchant with whom the transaction was placed; only EventInterface.com and the merchant with whom you placed the order has access to your credit card information. For record purposes, your credit card information is stored with each order so that EventInterface.com and/or the merchant may access it if necessary when handling questions about your order. We may also use a company that performs credit card processing on our behalf; your personal financial data will be transmitted to such a company in order to process authorized transactions.

In the event a client wants to set up a registration site for a program targeting youth (13-18), such as a summer camp or after school program, only a parent or guardian may sign up his/her child(ren) to attend such program.

Any client setting up a program targeting youth must provide EventInterface.com with all applicable and verifiable contact, program and reference information. EventInterface.com reserves the right to review any such program and may at its own discretion decide to not publish the registration site.

Any misuse of EventInterface.com targeting children will immediately be communicated to the appropriate authorities.
